Affinity Water tasked us with creating a compelling video to showcase their ambitious plan to transport water from the Midlands to the Southeast using canals and an intricate network of pipes.

Nationwide Drones Solution

To bring this vision to life, we crafted a detailed storyboard, developed a narrated script, and captured stunning aerial footage using drones. Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with Severn Trent, holding multiple meetings and refining the production to ensure it met their expectations. The final product was a visually engaging and informative video that successfully conveyed their innovative water distribution solution.

The Process

Collaborated with Affinity Water to fully understand their water transportation project, creating a detailed storyboard that outlined key visual elements and identified crucial canal and lock locations to effectively showcase the plan’s scale and intricacy.
Refined the script ensuring that it aligned with Severn Trent’s key objectives and utilized professional voice talent to ensure clear and engaging narration.
Identified key canal and landscape locations, carefully planned drone flight paths to capture essential aerial footage, and secured necessary permissions from local authorities for the shoots.
Conducted site visits to assess key locations, implemented health and safety protocols, and coordinated travel logistics for filming across multiple regions.
Executed drone flights, capturing dynamic aerial footage from various angles and under different weather and lighting conditions to showcase the scale of the water distribution system.
Carefully selected and edited the best drone footage, integrated it with the narrated script, and added transitions, effects, background music, and visual aids to clearly explain the water transportation process.
Held several review sessions, incorporating client feedback and revisions to ensure the final video fully met their vision and expectations.
