Calibrated thermal imaging from the air. Identify heat loss, moisture ingress, electrical faults and energy inefficiencies invisible to a standard visual inspection. Output overlaid on the building model in AIM Platform.
A building can lose 25% of its heat through invisible defects: failing insulation, water-saturated roof membranes, broken vapour barriers, cold bridges around poorly fitted openings.
A walking thermographer covers a few hundred square metres an hour. A drone fitted with a calibrated thermal sensor covers ten times that, from angles no person can reach. The result is a complete thermal map, day or night, ready to drop into your EPC, BREEAM submission, or condition report.
A thermal capture overlay reveals heat-loss patterns invisible to a standard inspection. Captured by drone, processed and overlaid on the building model in AIM.
Thermal drone surveys of solar PV arrays catch defects long before they become bigger losses. A failing cell, a bypass-diode short, a delaminating module, a soiling pattern, all show up clearly in thermal imagery before any visual symptom appears or yield drops noticeably.
Catching a single failed bypass diode in a 5 MW farm saves typically £3,000-£6,000 in lost generation over a year before the inverter alerts on the string. A single thermal flight pays for itself many times over on commercial PV.
Hosted on AIM Platform, every thermal capture is registered against the building model. Spot a hot spot in the report, click it, see exactly where on the roof it sits, who's responsible, and what was captured last year.
Every project we capture is uploaded to our online viewer and indexed on the projects page. Browse recent work, watch the footage, get a feel for the deliverable.
Thermal surveys are weather and time-of-day sensitive. We book windows in advance, tell us your timing and we'll plan around it.
