Terms of Business

Standard terms under which Nationwide Drones provides services. Project-specific terms are agreed in the engagement scope and override these where they conflict.

1. Parties

These terms govern the provision of drone capture, processing and reporting services by AIM Housing Limited (trading as Nationwide Drones) to the client identified in the engagement scope.

2. Engagement

Services are provided on the basis of a written quote, accepted by the client in writing or by email. The quote describes the scope, deliverables, timing, and fee. Variations to scope are agreed in writing and may affect the fee.

3. Fees and payment

Fees are as set out in the quote and are exclusive of VAT. Invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may attract statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Capture conditions

Drone operations are subject to weather, airspace, and regulatory conditions. We do not fly when conditions compromise safety or breach our CAA permissions. Postponed flights are rescheduled without additional charge to a mutually agreed date.

5. CAA compliance

All flights are operated under our CAA-issued Enhanced CAA permissions and applicable permissions. Pilots hold the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) as a minimum.

6. Deliverables and intellectual property

On full payment, the client receives a licence to use the deliverables for the purposes described in the engagement scope. Nationwide Drones retains ownership of raw data, processing methodologies, and may use the deliverables in anonymised case studies unless the engagement scope provides otherwise.

7. Hosting on AIM Platform

Where the engagement includes hosting on AIM Platform, hosting is provided for the duration set out in the engagement scope. Continued hosting beyond that period is subject to AIM Platform's own terms and pricing.

8. Liability

Our total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence). We carry public liability insurance appropriate to our operations.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement for material breach if not remedied within 30 days of written notice. On termination, the client pays for work completed and reasonable demobilisation costs.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
